About Me

 

I am Ian , I hold a BSc in Civil Engineering and a Post Graduate Diploma in Software Technology . I have worked as as software engineer, developer and system administrator see  CV for details, I am currently training in Evidence-based hypnosis, mindfulness & CBT

I have been into photography for many years starting with a K1000 back in the early 80s. DSLRs made life easier removing the need for darkrooms and chemicals, sadly the camera became the consumable. I have found dones a great extension to photography as a flying camera expands ones POV.

From 1996 to 2004 I studied ashtanga yoga in Mysore initally with KP Jois and laterly with BNS Iyengar and in Goa @ Small Vagator with Rolf Naujokat . In 2001 was a founding partner of the Mysore Mandala Yogasgala It had been my intention to teach on my return to the UK in 2004 , however a year of chemotherapy for NHL ( stage 3 grade 3) in 2006 lead to a change of mind .  While in India I also learned ayurvedic massage and the principals of ayurveda.
